The new Super Bowl Championship status of the Philadelphia Eagles offers a beautiful context for the many ways that "The Power of Kindness Connects Us". We feel a connection - with friends and strangers - around a common experience. There is an inclusiveness that reminds us that we are far more alike than different. We experience joy, gratitude, belonging, loyalty, respect and warmth. We get to practice patience, trust, flexibility, memory, generosity, humility and service. Add to those the warmth and contact, mindfulness, forgiveness, harmlessness, honesty and generosity that naturally emerge and every quality of Kindness described by Piero Ferrucci in his book, The Power of Kindness is part of our current experience. How wonderful is that?!
