Moorestown Denture Alternatives for Seniors
Moorestown Library will host Denture Alternatives for Seniors 50 years of age and better. This event will be hosted by Drs. Mario Canal, Ben Kalem, and Masi Dental Laboratories.
Many patients contemplating the extraction of their decaying teeth, as well as many long time denture wearers are surprised to learn that once the teeth are removed the bone starts to shrink.
After a few years, the denture become less visible and start to slip, become more unstable and pinch the gum, causing gingival irritation. Many just think the dentures are wearing out and getting loose. Actually, it is not the dentures that get loose. The dentures do not change much over the years. It is the patient that is getting "loose", because the supporting bone and gingiva is shrinking from the pressure of the dentures.
Implant supported dentures have the advantage of not needing to be removed. They become a part of your mouth, and can be more comfortable, since there is no chance for them to slip, or not fit properly
Join local dental surgeons Drs. Canal and Kalem and Masi Dental laboratory for this wonderful opportunity to learn how fixed or removable dentures can be placed to preserve bone and provide a solid foundation.
When: May 4th, from 3p.m to 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Where; The Moorestown Library is located @ 111 West Second Street.
Contact: to reserve your seat, limited to 75 attendees
