Free Events To Highlight Upgrades At Rowan College At Burlington County
Events run from Aug. 29 through Oct. 21.

Rowan College at Burlington County will hold a series of free events to highlight its new campuses, amenities and offerings, the college announced this week. Events will take place from Aug. 29 through Oct. 21.
During these events, the college hopes to show off its new Student Success Center and Health Sciences Center, and a completely redesigned campus quad on the Mount Laurel campus. Upgrades to every building took less than two years, according to college officials.
“Rowan College at Burlington County’s transformation is stunning and is a beautiful addition to our county that the entire community can be proud of,” Burlington County Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio said. “The Freeholder Board commends everyone involved in the campus’ transformation and creating this opportunity for our residents. Students in Burlington County can further their education and take advantage of these new state-of-the-art-facilities while paying the most affordable tuition in the state. I encourage everyone to come see the amazing changes at Rowan College at Burlington County.”

Events begin on Tuesday, Aug. 29 with the unveiling of the new Health Services Center on the Mount Laurel campus, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Other scheduled events include:
- Ndaba Mandela, grandson of Nelson Mandela, speaks at the Votta Hall Auditorium on the Mount Laurel Campus on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 7 p.m.;
- Navarrow Wright, CEO of technology and digital marketing company Maximum Leverage Solutions, will celebrate the Classroom to Career model at the Willingboro Campus on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 6:30 p.m.;
- RCBC Fest, a community celebration of the new Mount Laurel Campus with activities for families and traditional open house for future students, takes place on Sunday, Oct. 1, noon to 4 p.m.; and
- RCBC Arts Party, an open house that celebrates the fine arts programs at the Mount Holly Campus, is set for Saturday, Oct. 21, noon to 4 p.m. This event is running in conjunction with Main Street Mount Holly’s 15th annual Car Show that will be held along High Street in the historic downtown.

“The new Rowan College at Burlington County Mount Laurel Campus rivals those at any four-year university across the nation,” Rowan College at Burlington County President Paul Drayton said. “The Campus offers a modernized, student-centered experience that will better serve the entire college community and we are excited to share our progress with the entire community we serve.”
In addition to the Mount Laurel Campus transformation, Rowan College at Burlington County made improvements to its Mount Holly Campus, Willingboro Campus and Joint Base Campus.
The college is moving the student art gallery to the front of the Mount Holly Campus building and several of its fine art programs to the facility to be with the college’s culinary program.
The Willingboro and Joint Base campuses now feature a new Classroom to Career model that better serves adult learners and makes it easier for them to earn degrees in growing careers.
