Highland Football Team Downs Moorestown

Gloucester Township, NJ -- Brian Cooey accounted for 14 points on a touchdown, a field goal and four PATs in the Highland Regional High School football team’s 34-14 win over Moorestown, according to nj.com.

Cooey’s touchdown run was from 1 yard out, and his field goal was a 25-yarder. Matt McBride scored on a pair of touchdown runs, of 1 and 11 yards. Daejuan Sanders scored on an 11-yard touchdown run.

Moorestown scored on a 75-yard kickoff return and a 61-yard pass.

Highland (2-1) has a week off before visiting Buena (2-1) on Friday night, Oct. 7, 6 p.m.

Moorestown (1-2) visits Northern Burlington (0-3) on Friday night, Sept. 30, 7 p.m.
