Iron Hill Brewery Supporting Moorestown Tree Committee With March 24 Offer

The restaurant will donate a portion of proceeds to the tree committee.

Iron Hill restaurant and brewery will give 20 percent of its customers’ food bills (excluding alcoholic beverages, gratuity and taxes) on March 24 to the Moorestown Tree Planting and Preservation Committee. For coupons, click here.

The Moorestown Tree Planting and Preservation Committee, in partnership with the Moorestown Garden Club, the Moorestown Improvement Association and the State Forestry Services Community Forestry Program will host the New Jersey State Arbor Day event on Friday, April 24, at Wesley Bishop Park, 1248 North Church Street.

There will be over 200 volunteers planting trees between 2 and 2.5 inch calipher (diameter).

The Moorestown Tree Planting and Preservation Committee are asking for donations of trees. The goal is to plant between 50 and 100 trees at $150 each.

Donations can be made by sending a check to Moorestown Tree Committee, 601 East Third Street, Moorestown, NJ, 08057.

Checks should be made payable to Township of Moorestown marked for Arbor Day 2015.

Anyone who would like to donate actual trees should contact the committee to coordinate delivery.
