Man Arrested In Burlington County Teen's Overdose Death: Police
He was arrested Friday night in the death of the teen, who overdosed on Dec. 26, 2017.

An alleged drug dealer from Burlington County has been arrested and charged with the death of a teenager who fatally overdosed late last year, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Evesham Township Police Chief Christopher Chew announced on Monday.
Austin F. Cooper, 21, of Willingboro, was arrested Friday night by officers from the Edgewater Park Township Police Department. He was charged with one count of first-degree strict liability for drug-induced death.
He is accused of delivering 10 bags of heroin to a teenage girl at her home in Marlton, police said. She was found unresponsive but alive by a family member after a heroin overdose on Dec. 26, 2017.

She was transported to Virtua Marlton Hospital before being flown to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She was pronounced dead at CHOP on Dec. 28.
Cooper was previously charged in connection with this case with third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and third-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.
