Man Attempted to Trade Stolen iPad for Cigarettes, Stole Food: Moorestown Police

The iPad was stolen from Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.

Moorestown, NJ -- An unknown man attempted to trade an iPad that was stolen from a locak church for goods before stealing food and leaving the iPad at a convenience store in Moorestown.

The incident took place at the Wawa on West Main Street Wednesday night, Moorestown Police said.

He attempted to trade the iPad for cigarettes, but when the clerk refused, he stole some food items and left the store, leaving the iPad behind.

Police traced the iPad back to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on West Main Street, and discovered that the church had been burglarized.
