On Monday, May 15, 2017, Mount Laurel Township Mayor, Dennis Riley, presented a proclamation to the Mount Laurel Center on Church Road for National Nursing Home Week. Mayor Riley read to the staff the touching language from the plaque encouraging the staff to continue to keep supporting and caring for the senior population, especially to those in need of skilled-nursing care.
"This is a great way to get into this year's theme of "Spirit of America", said Agnes Tan, Recreation Director at Mount Laurel Center. "Every year we look forward to National Nursing Home Week and give the seniors and their families the love and how we feel as a Center serving them."
