MFS Boys, Girls Head To Holiday Basketball Tournaments
The teams will compete in a pair of holiday tournaments this week.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The holiday season is not just a time for giving, being grateful and celebrating; it’s also a time for high school basketball. There are a number of holiday tournaments coming up during the holidays, and both the boys and girls basketball teams at Moorestown Friends School will be participating.
The Moorestown Friends boys will travel to Audubon to compete in the Audubon Tournament. They open the tournament against Holy Cross on Thursday, Dec. 28, 12:30 p.m. Host Audubon plays Gloucester City in the second game. The championship game is set for Friday, Dec. 29, 3:30 p.m. It will be preceded by the consolation game at 12:30 p.m.
The Moorestown Friends girls will compete in the Pitman Tournament at Pitman High School. They open the tournament against Overbrook on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 3 p.m. Host Pitman plays Palmyra in the second game.
The championship game is set for Wednesday, Dec. 27, 5 p.m. The consolation game is set for 1 p.m.
