Law told philly.com he called Bryant coach Marty Fine to tell him the news, but Fine wasn’t detered. He said Law made a commitment to the program and the program made a commitment to him.
Law was able to arrive at training camp on time.
He may redshirt this season and return next season with a full four years of eligibility, but he’d rather return to the field sooner. His goal is to make the away-team squad and maybe play special teams, according to the Moorestown Sun.
Bryant opened the season with a 27-3 win over American International on Sept. 5, according to the University’s website. The Bulldogs play at Brown on Saturday afternoon, 12:30 p.m.
