Moorestown Basketball Teams To Compete In Holiday Tournaments

The Moorestown High School boys, and the Moorestown Friends boys and girls basketball teams all compete in tournaments later this week.

MOORESTOWN, NJ - The holidays aren’t just for giving, receiving and celebrating new starts; it’s also a time when the state’s basketball teams come together for their annual holiday tournaments.

The Moorestown High School boys basketball team will compete in the Eastern Vikings Tournament later this week at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees.

Moorestown plays Sterling in the tournament’s opening game at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27. Eastern hosts Kingsway in the second semifinal. The winners play on Friday, Dec. 28, 12:30 p.m. The consolation game is Friday at 11 a.m.

The Moorestown Friends School boys basketball team will compete in the Audubon Tournament at Audubon High School on the same days.

Gloucester will play Holy Cross in the first game of the tournament at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27. Audubon hosts Moorestown Friends in the second semifinal, at about 12:30 p.m. The winners will play on Friday, Dec. 28, 12:30 p.m. The consolation game is Friday at 11 a.m.

The Moorestown Friends School girls basketball team will compete in the Pitman Classic at Pitman High School the same days.

Moorestown Friends will play Palmyra in the first game of the tournament at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27. Pitman hosts Overbrook in the tournament’s second game at 5 p.m. The winners will play on Friday, Dec. 28, 5 p.m. The consolation game is Friday at 1 p.m.
