Moorestown Boys Soccer Team Needs Overtime to Advance in Playoffs

Fourth-seeded Moorestown defeated No. 13 Delsea, 1-0, according to nj.com.

Despite a major difference in seeding, the Moorestown High School boys soccer team needed overtime to defeat Delsea in the first round of the South Jersey Group III playoffs, according to nj.com.

Thomas Dovell scored the winning goal in the first minute of overtime, thanks to an assist from Enrique Arvelo, as No. 4 Moorestown downed No. 13 Delsea, 1-0.

Moorestown improved to 9-8-4, and will host No. 5 Cherry Hill West in the quarterfinals.

Delsea finished the season with a record of 5-12-3.
