Moorestown Boys Soccer Team Set For Coaches Tournament
Moorestown will begin competition in the unofficial South Jersey tournament on Friday.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown High School boys soccer team will begin its pursuit of the unofficial South Jersey title this week.
Moorestown is the No. 15 seed in the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association Tournament, and will visit No. 2 St. Augustine Prep on Friday, Oct. 19, 4 p.m., according to nj.com.
The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 7 Triton and No. 10 Haddon Township in the quarterfinals on Oct. 22. The semifinals are set for Oct. 24, and the championship game is scheduled to take place on Oct. 27 at DeCou Field in Cherry Hill.

Moorestown brings a record of 8-4-3 into the competition, while St. Augustine is 11-2-3.
The 16 teams in the annual tournament are selected based on the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association poll. Teams are included regardless of group or conference. In the playoffs, championships are decided based on group, making this tournament the unofficial championship tournament for all of South Jersey.
