Moorestown Business Association Names 2019 Scholarship Winners
The Association Recognized Four Exceptional Moorestown High School Seniors Pursuing Degrees in a Variety of Business Fields

Twelve years ago, Moorestown Business Association established a scholarship program to acknowledge Moorestown High School seniors interested in pursuing a business major in college and who have demonstrated extraordinary achievement in school as well as extracurricular and/or community activities. The winners are blindly selected each year through a review of submitted applications. The 2019 MBA Scholarship awardees are Aditya Garg, Kasey Hogeboom, Brian Liu, and Justin Marchant.
Dan Posternock, the MBA’s Scholarship Committee Chair, explains that the committee spends a significant amount of time searching for the best candidates. “We follow a specific screening process to determine our scholarship recipients, with criteria that includes GPA, a passion for business, and character,” explains Posternock. In past years, the MBA awarded two scholarships, but in 2019 increased the number to four. “After reading over 100 applications, these four students really stood out.”
Aditya will be pursuing a degree in Business Analytics at Rutgers University, Kasey is bound for Fordham University to study Global Business, Brian will attend Northeastern University to study Finance, and Justin was accepted into the Honors Program at the College of New Jersey where he will be studying Marketing.

The four recipients were notified that they had won the MBA scholarships during Moorestown High School’s Senior Award Ceremony just before they graduated in June. The MBA Board congratulates the Association’s 2019 scholarship winners, and wishes them much success as they continue to pursue their business careers.
