MOORESTOWN, NJ — Moorestown Council will select their mayor and deputy mayor for 2020 Monday night. Moorestown’s annual reorganization meeting will take place on Monday, Jan. 6, 7 p.m. at town hall, 111 West Second Street.

Each year at its reorganization meeting, Moorestown Council elects a mayor and a deputy mayor to serve for the year. Lisa Petriello is the current mayor, and Nicole Gillespie is the current deputy mayor.

There were no municipal elections in 2019, so no new council members will be sworn in. Council will appoint professionals and make appointments to boards and committees at the meeting. Read more here: Council To Discuss Professional Appointments At Special Meeting
