Moorestown Council To Discuss Extending Outdoor Dining Monday
Moorestown Council will meet Monday night at town hall, 7 p.m.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Moorestown Council will discuss extending outdoor dining in the township as the state enters the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic when it meets Monday night at town hall, 7 p.m.
The topic will be discussed during the council discussion portion of the meeting, and it will be introduced as a proposed ordinance.

Last week, Gov. Phil Murphy said during a news conference that a second wave of the coronavirus had come to New Jersey. On Friday, he said broader actions would be taken to the stop the spread, but didn't specify what those actions would be. Read more here: Gov. There are also 13 items on the consent agenda. The meeting will take place both in person in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, and by teleconference. There will be a limit of 12 seats available for members of the public on a first come-first served basis; doors will open at 6:45 p.m. All attendees will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

All other members of the public can attend and participate in the meeting by teleconference just the same as if present in-person. The Mayor will open the floor for public participation to those both in person and on the conference call in accordance with normal protocol.
