
MOORESTOWN, NJ — Ten years after Moorestown High School produced an undefeated championship team, the Quakers look to add another title to their resume, and will do so from the confines of their own home.
Moorestown enters the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 4 playoffs as the No. 1 seed, according to brackets posted on nj.com.
Moorestown (8-1) hosts No. 8 Pennsauken (3-5) in the quarterfinals on Friday night, Nov. 10, 7 p.m. The winner of that game plays the winner of the game between No. 4 Shawnee (5-3) and No. 5 Absegami (4-4) in the semifinals Nov. 17.

Burlington Township (6-2) is the No. 2 seed and will host No. 7 Highland (4-4) in the quarterfinals. The winner faces the winner of the game between No. 3 Central Regional (7-2) and No. 6 Hammonton (3-6) in the semifinals.
The championship game is scheduled for Nov. 30, time and location to be determined.

Moorestown's 2007 championship team, which went 12-0, was honored earlier this season, at halftime of Moorestown's 33-11 win over Northern Burlington.
This year's team has been nearly perfect, with its only loss coming against Woodrow Wilson back on Oct. 6. Since then, Moorestown has won four in a row, with each win coming by at least two touchdowns.
