Moorestown Fencing Sabre Squad Wins District 2 Title

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Friends School fencing sabre squad brought home a championship last weekend. The team of sophomore Rachel Liu and seniors Carie Feigeles and Chloe Chen won the NJSIAA District 2 girls’ sabre squad championship at the championships held on Jan. 28 at North Hunterdon High School, the school announced. The team will now compete for the overall state championship on Feb. 25 at North Hunterdon.

Liu also took third place in the District 2 individual sabre championships. She qualifies to compete in the NJSIAA individual sabre championships on March 4 at Livingston High School.
