Moorestown Football Team Downs Bishop Eustace In Defensive Struggle

Both defenses shut down opposing offenses in the 7-3 win.

Moorestown, NJ -- The winning touchdown came in the second quarter, and the Moorestown High School football team’s defense held off Bishop Eustace in the second half of a 7-3 win on Friday night, according to nj.com.

J’Wan Steward’s 3-yard touchdown run was the only scoring the Quakers needed in the defensive affair. Josh Bearder kicked the PAT.

The touchdown came after Ryan Gallagher had put Bishop Eustace up, 3-0, with a 25-yard field goal in the first quarter.

Moorestown (4-3) visits Cherry Hill East (0-5) on Saturday morning, Oct. 29, 11 a.m.
