Moorestown Football Team Downs Hightstown To Move Into Playoff Position

Moorestown won, 27-7, on Friday night.

Moorestown, NJ -- Brandon Outlaw scored three touchdowns, including two on receptions from quarterback Brian McMonagle, in the Moorestown High School football team’s 27-7 win over Hightstown on Friday, according to nj.com.

McMonagle delivered passes of 8 and 37 yards to Outlaw, who also scored on a run of 50 yards.

Hugh Malesh recovered a fumble in the end zone to cap the scoring for the Quakers.

Johnny Andre put Hightstown on the board first, with a 2-yard run in the second quarter. Hightstown held a 7-6 halftime lead, but Moorestown erased that deficit with a 21-0 third quarter and never looked back.

Moorestown (3-3) hosts Bishop Eustace (1-4) on Friday night, 7 p.m.
