Moorestown Friends Girls Basketball Advances To Pitman Final

Moorestown Friends will compete in the championship game Wednesday night.

PITMAN, NJ — The Moorestown Friends School girls basketball team will play for a trophy on Wednesday. Moorestown Friends will compete in the championship game of the Pitman Tournament at Pitman High School at 5 p.m.

Moorestown Friends advanced to the final with a 58-18 win over Overbrook on Tuesday, according to nj.com. Alyssa Runyan lead the way with 18 points, six rebounds, four assists, five steals and a blocked shot in the win.

Charlotte Stern had 17 points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal. Isabella Runyan dropped nine points, grabbed three rebounds and had six assists and seven steals.
