Moorestown Friends School Boys Soccer Team Advances In Playoffs With Overtime Win
Moorestown High School also advanced on Monday.

Moorestown, NJ -- Oliver Bastien scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lead the fifth-seeded Moorestown Friends School boys soccer team to a 2-1 win over No. 12 Rutgers Prep in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Non-Public B playoffs on Monday, according to nj.com.
Alec Aloia struck first, putting Rutgers Prep up 1-0 at halftime. Hunter Ace responded with the equalizer for Moorestown Friends in the second half to force the overtime period.
Andrew Denittis and Spencer Dennis had assists for Moorestown Friends, and goalie Ted Kinzler made eight saves.

Moorestown Friends will visit No. 4 Gloucester Catholic in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.

Also on Monday, the sixth-seeded Moorestown High School boys soccer team saw goals from three different players in its 3-1 win over No. 11 Lakewood in the first round of the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 3 playoffs, according to nj.com.
Jack Broker, Brendon Parker and Justin Quintero each scored in the win. Broker also had an assist, as did Sean Carden and Justin Ramos.
Moorestown will visit No. 3 Wall in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
