Moorestown Girls Soccer Team Advances In SJSCA Tournament
The Quakers defeated Williamstown, 2-1, on Thursday, according to nj.com.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown High School girls soccer team is still alive in its quest to capture the unofficial South Jersey title.
The Quakers scored both their goals in the first half, then held on for a 2-1 win over Williamstown in the first round of the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association tournament on Thursday, according to nj.com.
Grace Hurren and Abbey McNulty gave fifth-seeded Moorestown the lead in the first half. Nicole Quintero scored for No. 12 Williamstown in the second half.

Moorestown will face the winner of the game between No. 4 Bishop Eustace and No. 13 Paul VI in the quarterfinals on Oct. 22. The semifinals are set for Oct. 24, and the championship game will take place on Oct. 27. The semifinals and finals will all take place at DeCou Field in Cherry Hill.
