The Moorestown High School football team nearly made it two in a row Friday night.
One week after breaking their 10-game losing streak with a win over Burlington Township, Moorestown fell to Seneca, 28-27, in overtime, according to nj.com.
The Quakers fell short on a failed two-point conversion following a Mike DiMarino 13-yard touchdown run in overtime.

Seneca then scored on a 3-yard pass from JJ Scarpello to Sam Pawlikowski, and converted a Kevin Gsell kick for the win.
In addition to his overtime score, DiMarino had two touchdown passes in regulation. He connected with Skyler Clark on a 21-yard pass for the first score of the game.

After Moorestown fell behind, 14-7, DiMarino hit Tommy Bolte for a 19-yard touchdown pass to tie the game.
Seneca reclaimed the lead in the fourth quarter, but a 4-yard touchdown run from Moorestown’s Zion Howard tied the game and sent it into overtime.
Moorestown is 1-2 this season.
