Moorestown, NJ -- The glass of a rear sliding door was smashed and jewelry was stolen from a home on the unit block of Kendles Run Saturday night, Moorestown Police said on Sunday morning.The burglary took place some time between 4:30 p.m. and 1 a.m. The amount of stolen jewelry has not yet been determined. Police are investigating.Anyone with information about this or any other crime is asked to contact detectives at 856-914-3092 or detectives@moorestownpd.com. The police department encourages citizens to promptly call police if they see suspicious activity at 856-234-8300. Call 911 for crimes in progress. The Rutgers Master Gardener Program of Burlington County will be giving 3 presentations on Saturday, May 9 at the opening of the Burlington County Farmers Market at the Burlington County Agricultural Center located at 500 Centerton Road in Moorestown NJ.
The presentations are:
9:30 am - 10:15 am - The Basic Care and Growing of Fig Trees (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee is required).
10:30 am to 11:15 am - Composting (no registration or fee).
11:30 am - 12:15 pm - The Basic Care and Growing of Hydrangeas (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee required).
All three presentations are near or at the Rutgers Demonstration plots (to the right of the Big Red Barn, next to the Community Gardens).
