Moorestown Library Reopens Amid Coronavirus Pandemic
The Moorestown Library reopened with limited services on Monday.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Library has reopened with limited hours and services, the library announced. It reopened on Monday after being closed amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The library’s current hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon. Contactless pickup will continue, but appointments will not be required.
The library is following social distancing and health guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and will be employing the following policies:

- Face coverings will be required for everyone (except where masks would inhibit an individual’s health or for children under 2).
- Safety protocols limit the building's capacity, so patrons are asked to restrict their visit to 30 minutes or less.
- Seating will be limited, and social distancing is required.
- Computer usage will be limited to 30 minutes per day per customer. (Staff’s ability to safely provide computer assistance will be limited.)
- Food and beverages will not be allowed inside the Library.
- Hand sanitizer and wipes will be available.
- Library materials should be returned in the book drop. Items will be quarantined for at least 3 days before being re-shelved.

Contactless pickup has been in place at the library since June 22. Libraries had been closed since March to help stop the spread of the coronavirus, but Gov. Phil Murphy said they could reopen as of June 15.
