Moorestown, MFS Girls Basketball Teams Set For Playoffs
Moorestown Friends begins their quest for a non-public B title at home, while Moorestown is on the road.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Both the Moorestown Friends School and Moorestown High School girls basketball teams will compete for sectional titles this season.
Moorestown Friends will open their quest for an NJSIAA South Jersey Non-Public Group B title at home, while Moorestown begins the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 playoffs on the road, according to nj.com.
Moorestown Friends is the No. 3 seed in the playoffs and will host No. 14 Calvary Christian in the first round on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 6 Rutgers Prep and No. 11 Doane Academy in the quarterfinals on March 1.

The semifinals will take place on March 4, with the championship game set for March 6.
Moorestown Friends went 15-4 this season, with all four losses coming against out-of-state competition, according to nj.com. Calvary Christian was 10-9.

The Quakers are the No. 14 seed in South Jersey Group 3 and will visit No. 3 Toms River East in the first round on Tuesday, Feb. 26. The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 6 Toms River South and No. 11 Pinelands in the quarterfinals on Feb. 28.
The semifinals are scheduled for March 2, with the championship game set for March 4.
Moorestown is 6-16 this season. Toms River Eastis 14-6.
