The Local Acts of Kindness Foundation recently celebrated its one-year anniversary. It inspires, encourages, and brings neighbors together for the purpose of practicing kindness towards others, within their own communities and beyond.
It was formed by the DiPasquale family, which has been active in the Moorestown community for several years. It all began with their Tractor Trailer Challenge in 2017 and 2018, in which they ask the community to help them pack a tractor trailer to help victims of natural disasters.

One aspect of the nonprofit is Senior Serenades, a program in which musical teens donate their time and talents entertaining local seniors at assisted living facilities, playing piano and various band instruments.
When the coronavirus pandemic resulted in residents being asked to quarantine earlier this year, they took their performances virtual. Read more here: Moorestown Teens Perform Virtual Show For Quarantined Seniors
