Moorestown Police Stepping Up Patrols With Focus On DWI This Thanksgiving Weekend

Moorestown, NJ -- Make sure you’re able to drive before you get behind the wheel this Thanksgiving Weekend.

Moorestown Police will have roving patrols that will be on the lookout for drunk drivers this weekend, Chief Lee Lieber said Wednesday morning.

This is typical practice for many police departments, and DWI checkpoints are typically set up in other towns.

While there will be no DWI checkpoints in Moorestown, police will still be on the lookout for anyone who may have had too much wine with their turkey and decided they were OK to drive anyway.

With services like Uber, Sober Sam and others, there’s no reason to drink and drive.

Evesham Township even provides its own services should you find yourself out that way.
