The total cost of the projects is about $42.8 million. It began on June 22 with a projected end date of Sept. 8.
The school district is also replacing the turf on the high school football field with artificial turf, resurfacing the track, building a new stadium entrance and putting up a new scoreboard and lighting, according to the report.
