Moorestown Soccer Teams Learn When, Where They Will Start Playoff Runs

The playoffs begin next week.

Moorestown, NJ -- Three high school soccer teams in Moorestown still have the chance to win championships this season, according to brackets posted on nj.com.

Both Moorestown Friends School teams are in the running for championships.

The boys team is the No. 5 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Non-Public B tournament, and hosts No. 12 Rutgers Prep in the first round of the 12-team tournament, to be played by Oct. 31.

The winner plays the winner of the game between No. 4 Gloucester Catholic and No. 13 Wardlaw-Hartridge in the second round on Nov. 3. The semifinals are scheduled for Nov. 7, with the championship game set for Nov. 10.

The Moorestown Friends boys are 10-6 this season.

Rutgers Prep is 5-9.

Ranney is 6-8-1.

The Moorestown High School boys soccer team is the No. 6 seed in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 3 tournament.

The Quakers will host No. 11 Lakewood in the first round of the 16-team tournament, to be played by Oct. 31.

Moorestown is 5-9-2.

Lakewood is 10-8-1.

The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 3 Wall and No. 14 Hamilton West on Nov. 3. The semifinals are scheduled for Nov. 7, with the championship game set for Nov. 10.
