The dugouts cover the players’ need for a covering for the heat and inclement weather. The softball fields have been in need of upgrades since the Moorestown Recreation Advisory Committee put together a report detailing the needs at the various youth athletic facilities across the township in 2008. The other fields were completed.
The Moorestown Youth Softball Association (MYSA) appeared before council several times last year to request the upgrades be done.
