Moorestown Varsity Debate Team Wins Second Straight South Jersey Title

Moorestown, NJ -- The Moorestown High School debate team is at the top of the heap once again.

The team captured its second straight varsity title during the South Jersey Debate League championships at Eastern Regional last week.

The teams of Laura Sussman and Kyle Loveland, and Julia Graham and Bavish Gummadi led the Quakers to victory.

JV teams Lawrence Stevens and Ethan McDevitt, and Nelson Dimpter and Ryan Schweighofer fought hard for Moorestown’s fourth consecutive JV title, butfell short against Eastern’s JV teams.
