Moorestown Water May Change Colors In April: Here's Why
Residents may also notice low water pressure.
MOORESTOWN, NJ —If you think the water in your home looks a bit different this month, it's likely not your imagination.
The Moorestown Public Works Department is flushing fire hydrants from April 6 through April 30 in order to flush the water mains.
The operations are being done between 9 .m. and 3 a.m., and may lead to discoloration and/or low water pressure.

Township officials advised residents to check the color of the water before washing clothes.
Anyone with questions can contact the Public Works Department at 856-235-3520 (Opt. 2) between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
