Bomb Threats Reported To Multiple School Districts In South Jersey: Officials

A heightened level of law enforcement was on site at multiple schools.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — The Mount Holly and Mount Laurel school districts reported bomb threats to their buildings on Monday morning.

The threats were deemed not credible, but additional safety measures are being put into place. This includes more officers at schools in Mount Laurel.

The source of the threats is yet to be identified.

Mount Holly

The Mount Holly Police Department received a call on Monday with a threat to one of the local schools.

Officers responded, and an increased law enforcement presence was initiated for much of the morning.

At this time, there is no active threat, authorities said, and the call appears to be consistent with a broader string of events affecting other schools in the area.
