Man Dead After Crash In South Jersey: Officials
An officer was also taken to the hospital.

EVESHAM, NJ — A man is dead after what was confirmed by the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General to be a vehicle crash near the intersection of Greentree Road and Route 73 on Friday morning.
A member of law enforcement was also hurt and taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries, the Evesham Police Department added.
At around 4:40 a.m., an Evesham officer driving a marked police car tried to stop a car in the area. The driver then hit another car near the intersection of Route 73 and Lincoln Drive.

The man who was driving the first car died at the scene, authorities said.
The police vehicle was not a part of the crash.

As of 2:30 p.m., Route 73 northbound was still closed near Lincoln Drive.
Residents should avoid the entire length of Route 73 between Greentree Road and Lincoln Drive.
The New Jersey Office of the Attorney General is now handling the case.
