PARCC Math Results: How Did Moorestown Do?

MOORESTOWN, NJ — On Monday, we told you how the Moorestown Public School District fared in the English portion of PARCC testing. Here’s a look at how students in the district fared in math, which was broken up into Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II at the high school level.
Many districts in New Jersey performed in the "Level 4" and "Level 5" areas, which is between the scores of 750 and 850, the latter being a perfect score. Moorestown results are below:
3rd Grade Math: Moorestown Twp, Burlington 773
4th Grade Math: Moorestown Twp, Burlington 761
5th Grade Math: Moorestown Twp, Burlington 760
6th Grade Math: Moorestown Twp, Burlington 762
7th Grade Math: Moorestown Twp, Burlington 768
8th Grade Math: Moorestown Twp, Burlington 756
Algebra I: Moorestown Twp, Burlington 770
Geometry: Moorestown Twp, Burlington 745
Algebra II: Moorestown Twp, Burlington 753

The PARCC tests have been a source of controversy for years, and Gov. Phil Murphy has talked for nearly year about finding replacements for the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers test.
