Playoff Matchups Set for Moorestown High School Boys, Girls Basketball Teams
The first round games will be played as a doubleheader on Feb. 29.

Moorestown, NJ -- The Moorestown High School boys and girls basketball teams will open the playoffs with a boy-girl doubleheader on Feb. 29, according to nj.com.
First up: the girls game, in which Moorestown (12-6) is the No. 6 seed in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 3 tournament. The Quakers host No. 11 Pennsauken (11-8) at 4 p.m.
Moorestown had won three in a row as of Thursday afternoon, with seven regular season games left before the playoffs begin.

Road games include trips to New Egypt, Riverside and Moorestown Friends. Moorestown will host Rancocas Valley, Burlington Township, Haddon Heights and Audubon.
Pennsauken owns a pair of victories over Moorestown already this season.

On Jan. 7, Pennsauken defeated Moorestown, 45-33. On Feb. 9, it was a 43-31 victory over the Quakers. Pennsauken has five games left before the playoffs begin.
The winner plays the winner of the game between No. 3 Neptune and No. 14 Pemberton in the quarterfinals on March 2. The semifinals are set for March 4, with the championship game on March 7.
The boys (9-10) are the No. 6 seed in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 3 tournament, and will host No. 11 Brick Township (11-8) at 6 p.m.
The Quakers recently snapped a five-game losing streak with wins over Cinnaminson and Pennsuaken. Before that, Moorestown was 7-5.
The Quakers have six games left, including the regular season home finale against Moorestown Friends on Feb. 24. Road games include trips to Delran, Doane Academy, Burlington Township, Cherry Hill East and Medford Tech.
Toms River North recently ended Brick’s three-game winning streak. Brick has two regular season games left, both on the road, before the playoffs begin.
