
Asher Associates Architects of Jenkintown, PA and Stone Harbor will design renovations to the Moorestown Field Club, the firm announced on Tuesday.
A new pro shop is among the amenities that will be added to the existing clubhouse.
The project is currently in the design phase, with construction set to begin before the end of the year. The target date for completion of the project is 2016. Budget specifications were unavailable.

“We’re honored to provide design services for such an esteemed club,” Asher Associates Architects Principal Mark Asher said. “We look forward to delivering a building that honors the historic context of Moorestown and also meets the needs of an engaged club membership.”
Moorestown High School graduate Kristopher Powell will serve as Project Manager. He graduated from the school in 1999.

The Moorestown Field Club is a member-owned, private golf and tennis club that was created on May 17, 1892.
Asher Associates Architects was established in 1993, and has designed award-winning homes, offices, restaurants and public buildings in suburban Philadelphia and numerous New Jersey coastal towns.
