Second Moorestown Pub Crawl to Battle Domestic Violence Set for April 18

The crawl will hit three pubs and benefit Providence House Domestic Violence Services.

Moorestown, NJ -- The annual Moorestown Pub Crawl will be held on Monday, April 18, beginning at 6 p.m. at Firebird’s Wood Fired Grill, the committee in charge of the event said on Thursday.

Following the first stop, the event will continue to Distrito at 7:30 p.m. and will conclude at Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar at 9 p.m.

Now in its second year, the Moorestown Pub Crawl raises awareness for the issues surrounding domestic violence.

“The Moorestown Pub Crawl is a great opportunity to give back and support a fantastic program while spending a fun night out with your friends and neighbors – it’s a win-win for everyone,” Pub Crawl Founder and Committee Chair Melissa Young said. “Last year’s event raised over $3,000 and was a fantastic start for this new tradition, and we are hopeful this year’s event will be an even bigger success.”

The crawl takes advantage of the Moorestown Mall’s revitalized restaurant row to raise funds for Providence House Domestic Violence Services, a Burlington County program that provides a 24-hour confidential hotline, legal advocacy, emergency shelters, counseling and education.
