Speed Limit Reduced On Turnpike In South Jersey Amid Snow, Ice
The speed limit is 35 mph on part of the turnpike as crews plow the roadway.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The speed limit on a stretch of the New Jersey Turnpike dropped to 35 mph Tuesday morning as the winter storm persisted.
The speed restriction applies to both directions in Turpike Maintenance District 2 (Moorestown) and District 3 (Mount Laurel). Authorities reduced the speed limit for plowing operations.
District 2 stretches from a few miles south of the Walt Whitman Bridge, to Mount Laurel. District 3 extends up northwestern Burlington County and into Mercer County.

District 1 (Swedesboro), which goes from Salem County to Camden County, has a 45 mph limit because of roadway conditions.
