A statewide manhunt is underway for an armed-and-dangerous couple from New Jersey who had explosives, police said. As of Friday afternoon, the pair were still at-large.

Authorities are searching for Nicholas Layton, 39, and Rebecca Wills, 33, both of Mount Holly, now that they also face a variety of weapons and drug offenses, police said.

Police raided their home this week and discovered the homemade explosives.

As a result of an ongoing investigation, Layton and Wills are wanted for possession of weapons, possession of homemade explosives, possession and distribution of drugs and receiving stolen property.

Layton is also wanted for violation of federal probation. Both are considered armed-and-dangerous, police said.
