Major defense company lands over $1 billion in fighter jet, missile-defense deals (oregonlive.com) — Defense contractor Lockheed Martin will perform part of a $724 million Aegis missile-defense contract in Moorestown through March 2030, supporting systems for two Japanese warships. While the deals are national and international in scope, they mean long-term, high-tech defense work continuing in town alongside projects in Japan and several U.S. locations.
