The Interact Club is a branch of Rotary International, a community service organization that works to create lasting change around the world, according to the organization's website.

Vojdani, a senior, said this is one of Moorestown HS Interact's biggest events and said it's been a "remarkable" experience serving as chair of an event that helps so many.

"It's beyond meaningful for me to see that we can help so many people in our area through this event," Vojdani said. "Whether it's through the many people I've worked with in the planning of Soup for the Soul or meeting community members at the event itself, serving as a chair has helped me gain a greater understanding of my community."

This year, some of the confirmed businesses donating soup are Georgetti's Catering, Yard House, Maurizio's Bistro, and Passariello's. said Vojdani. Those donating bread include Barone's Tuscan Grill, Primo Hoagies, Ralph's Market, and The Cubby Hole, he said.
