Student Made Threats To Moorestown School, Police Say
Charges were pending against the student, according to police.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Charges were pending against a Moorestown student after the student made threats against William Allen Middle School, according to the Moorestown Police Department.
On Saturday, police learned that the student made the threats and posted a photograph that contained firearms via Snapchat, authorities said.
The preliminary investigation showed the student did not have access to any type of firearm and the threat was deemed not credible, according to authorities. The investigation continued Monday morning, according to authorities.

"No charges have been filed at this point," the Moorestown Police Department said. "However, it is intended that charges will be filed once the investigation is completed."
The Moorestown School District intended to have "a typical and safe school day" on Monday, Superintendent Michael Volpe told Patch.

"Students and staff will see additional police patrols and presence at all of our schools, strictly as a precautionary measure and to help allay any anxiety people are feeling over this weekend’s situation," he added.
