NJ Teen On Bike Killed After Crash With Box Truck, Police Say

SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A teenager who was riding an electronic dirt bike was killed after a crash with a Freightliner box truck on Tuesday morning, New Jersey State Police said.

Officials responded at around 10:45 a.m. to the intersection of Tranquility Court and North Firelane Road for a crash.

Based on early evidence, the driver of the dirt bike was going east on North Firelane Road and hit the right rear area of the truck as both were in the intersection.

The bike's driver was ejected.

No other injuries were reported.
