○      Whiz Kids’ Accomplishment: Fourteen   students were inducted into the Cum Laude Society, a national honor society for academically challenging independent schools, at a ceremony at MFS on May 12.

○      Whiz Kids’ Key to Awesomeness: The fourteen inductees include seniors Julia Bintliff (Moorestown), Joshua Gregory (Collingswood), Taylor Horn (Cherry Hill), Hee Jin Kim (Cherry Hill), Devin Massaro (Moorestown), Alexander Schoifet, (Medford) and Elizabeth Tatum (Riverton).Juniors selected for the honor are Carolyn Chelius (Haddon Township), Katherine Churchill (Medford), Valere Demuynck (Mount Holly), Karan Hiremath (Columbus), Bethany Holtz (Medford Lakes), Madison Taormina (Moorestown) and Emily Whtiley (Moorestown). Students are selected for membership based on their cumulative record of academic excellence in all subject areas. No more than 20 percent of a school’s senior class may be selected, with no more than 10 percent chosen during their junior year. Moorestown Friends School received its Cum Laude charter in 1962.
