Yoga For Kids, Park Beautification: Moorestown Monday Manual

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Welcome to the April 18 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight important events coming up this week in and around Moorestown.
The Moorestown Library kicks off its weeklong Spring Break Craft Bonanza on Monday. Each day through Friday a different craft, such as colorful foam parrots and spring sticker scenes, will be offered and then on Saturday, any leftover crafts will be available. Contact the library for more information.
On Tuesday at 7 p.m., the Moorestown Zoning Board of Adjustment holds one of its meetings. There are several different properties on the agenda, which can be viewed by clicking here.

On Wednesday at 7 p.m., the Moorestown Library invites all to visit the past, the way, way, way back past when it hosts an event titled “Why Dinosaurs Matter.” Paleontologist Kenneth Lacovara – “who has discovered some of the largest creatures to ever walk the earth,” according to the library – will speak to the audience. On Thursday at 4:15 p.m. at Moorestown Library, kids aged 5 to 10 years can take part in “Yoga Story Stretchers,” an event that enables attendees to learn different yoga breathing and poses and hear a great story. Begin the process of registering for this event by clicking here.

Moving onto the weekend, on Saturday, State Senator Troy Singleton will lead an event at Frank Fullerton Memorial Park that includes planting, mulching or painting from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you are interested, register at this link first and then meet at the corner of Zelley Avenue and Linden Street in town on the day of the event.
And if your spring cleaning has left you with a lot of important papers that you need to get rid of but do not want to throw them the regular trash, Keller Williams Realty at 513 South Lenola Road is hosting a paper shredding event on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Contact their office if you have any questions.
