• 5 firefighters taken to hospital after battling Holmdel mansion fire (app.com) — Morganville firefighters were among several departments called to help battle a massive mansion fire in nearby Holmdel, where five firefighters were hospitalized for heat exhaustion and minor injuries. The blaze gutted the large Armand Drive home Friday afternoon, but all residents escaped safely as county and township officials continue investigating the cause.
