2010 Census: Housing Vacancies Doubled in Morris Township

The total number of housing units in the township grew by 204, from 8,298 to 8,502, but the number of occupied units rose by just twelve, from 8,116 to 8,128.

At the time of the 2010 census, vacancies broke down as follows:

• 93 units for rent
• 11 units rented but not occupied
• 78 units for sale
• 13 units sold but not occupied
• 106 unoccupied seasonal, recreational or occasional units 
• 73 other vacancies
